What do you do at ACETECH? And how long have been a part of the team?
I’ve worked at ACETECH since January 2014 and have been a Frontend Software Engineer for 8 years at the company. Since the end of 2021 / beginning of 2022 I’ve moved into the role of UI/UX Lead Developer for ACETECH and have been working with an external company to gain valuable hands-on experience as well as registering for a Professional Diploma in UX Design from the University of Glasgow with the help and support of ACETECH. The aim is to give our end users & clients a unified experience that promotes actionable data insights.
What motivates you to wake up and go to work?
Working on new exciting projects all the time and helping make a difference in people’s lives. Each day is different, and you never know what project will pop up next!
If you could choose any job in the world, what would you choose?
Dream job? Trance DJ / Producer, get to travel the world, make great music, and party all the time!
How would your family and friends describe you in three words?
Never asked them, I would be afraid of the answers!
What’s something you are planning on doing in the next year that you’ve never done?
Go on plenty of holidays this year, have just visited Amsterdam and I’m in the middle of organising trips to Leeds, London and possibly Montenegro!
